The Buddha Jewel

Buddha is a Sanskrit word meaning “Awareness and understanding “when we take refuge in the Buddha, we vow to return from blind faith and delusion and rely upon understanding and awareness as a way of life. Buddhism is an education of Buddha is a teaching and Buddhism is his teaching. Buddhism is an education, not a religion, which education indicates us a right path and makes us a right person in the world. We do not worship the Buddha; we respect him as a teacher. His teaching enables us to leave suffering and attain happiness. Wisdom morality and concentration. Why should anyone take refuge in the Buddha? The Buddha did not exhort people to take refuge in him .He neither punished nor give salvation to other beings .He did not judge, but he gave a great deal of guidance to everyone how to live peacefully, how to practice meditation and how to be liberated from all suffering.

The Dhamma Jewel

Dhamma/Dharma means “right understanding and views” Delusion has obstructed us from seeing the true face of people and the reality behind matter and the objects. This has caused u to look at life and the universe in a distorted and deviant way. When delusion is cleared and our mind is pure to an extent, we are able to see all people and matters completely and clearly. When our heart re pure, we can see the past, present and future. Only when we have clearly seen the whole can our viewpoint and understanding be considered right. The Buddha’s mind is pure without the slightest pollution and therefore. we can rely upon the sutras, which are the recoded teaching of the Buddha, because they speak entirely of the truths the Buddha has seen .They teach and show us the way to attain purity of mind, to see life and the universe most clearly and become just like the Buddha.

The sangha Jewel

Sangha means a congregation of those who have the same view. According to Buddhism, to be at least four monks who follow the 227 monastic rules laid down by the Buddha. There are two kinds of Sangha. Ariya sangha and Puthujjana  Sangha. A member of the Ariya Sangha has attained one or more of the stages of holiness, the four spramundane paths and fruitions. The Ariya Sangha came into being on the fifth waning day of July following the Buddha’s Enlightenment. The Buddha’s order of Ariya Sangha has practiced well, practiced straightly, and practiced intelligently and completely. It is worthy of offerings, hospitality, gifts and reverence. It is an incomparable field of merit for the world.
